New to the North 40 Performance Team Rider list for 2022 is Gage Fouillard and her fiancé Ty Ellis from Spinney Hill Performance Horses and Equine Therapy. Located near Spinney Hill, SK right between Saskatoon and North Battleford they operate a small business where they train some outside horses but mostly focus on raising and training performance horses of their own. At anytime they have between 6 to 12 horses on the go and Gage is a certified equine body worker as well.
They tend focus on rope horses and in 2022 they will have 3 horses attending rope horse futurities in Canada, as well as attending World Series Roping events and smaller team roping/breakaway and barrel jackpots during the week.
In 2021 Gage and Ty had a full booked year of training horses, one being a rope horse that they started and took to the rope pen for her first year where she won upwards of $10,000 LTE. They take great pride in the horses being broke and always being in great condition.
