Let’s head on over to Ogema, SK and welcome Tanya Cutler Leonard and her girls McKenna and Madison to the North 40 Performance 2022 Team Riders.
This family is actively involved in the horse industry primarily barrel racing and can hit up to 25 jackpots a year with their 5 horses. Tanya has been an avid competitor for several years competing at CCA and MRCA Finals in the 90s and later college rodeos in Vermilion, AB. The girls are members of their local light horse 4H Club that Tanya and a friend started 4 years ago. The club started at 6 members and has now grown to 15 this year.
Tanya also started the Deep South Barrel Racing Association with her friend eight years ago and the series that started out with 6 jackpots in 2 locations has now grown to 24 jackpots in 8 locations with 200 members.
