Key Components:

Protein: the protein contained in Protein Bites is a highly digestible protein (90% digestible), containing 18 amino acids.

Fatty Acids: the fats in Protein Bites are the same great fats found in all of our hemp products. 9% of the bites are fats, and 90% of those are comprised of Omega 3, 6, and 9s.

Omega 3: Not only are fatty acids essential to function, but they provide a variety of health benefits. Omega 3 Fatty Acids contain DHA and EPA, two acids that provide cells with flexibility, lubrication and improved metabolic efficiency.

Omega 6: Also essential and required for good nutrition, the Omega 6s in Protein Bites contain significant levels of GLA which is provide a host of benefits. GLA is well known as a support for inflammation and joint pain.

Omega 9: This monounsaturated fatty acid is an excellent source of energy.

Fibre: both soluble and insoluble fibre are abundant in Protein Bites. Bacterial fermentation in the hindgut allows horses to make use of this excellent nutritional energy source.

Others: Iron, Potassium, Terpenes and Antioxidants.
